Because then he'd have to face up to his problem, I mean, addiction, which would mean admitting what a weak, low life, pathetic liar he is.

I guess....

and Gail wouldn't be a (perpetual) victim.

littlepollyflinders · 10/08/2009 20:05

Hurrah! Gail is doing her (perpetual) victim bit

kittycatty · 11/08/2009 12:26

Just wanted to reach into tv and give Gail a slap on last nights

Joe has irritated me since he joined, I think this story line is leading to him leaving, hope so. Maybe Gail or David will smother him with a pillow to stifle that awful moaning and sobbing.

He seems to have a strange huge massive head, or is it just that Gail has a really small head? Either way I always thought they looked really odd together.

I seem to remember an episode where the doc wouldn't prescribe him any more painkillers in case he got addicted....

Why does he not just go to Boots - they sell own brand paracetamol with Codeine.

rofl

mawbroon · 11/08/2009 23:23

Ah, but perhaps they don't have Boots in Weatherfield, and Dev doesn't stock the strong stuff in the corner shop.

I loved the bit where he went loopy in the surgery and smashed it up to Morrisey singing "Please, please, please let me get what I want this time". Class.
