Maria has gone to Ireland with the inlaws.

Ches found the ring in Fiz's coat pocket, realised it meant that Fiz was engaged to Stape - so he took it and went joyriding in rosie's car.

The Windrush woman, the one that works at the cafe - can't remember her name - came across Ches and told him to get out of the car and go home - He mistakenly left the ring on the passenger seat. Rosie found it.
