I have realised while I hate Debra from EastEnders so much

Debra was Tracy Beaker's mum too. It seems she is good at abandoning her kids.

Which is probably why she reminds me of my mother.

I found myself thinking about my mother today and remembering a time when we talked and I was so desperate for us to have a close mum and daughter bond. Any bond would have done tbh.

Waiting for some in September but up to now I haven't wanted to talk about it in counselling as then it makes it real.

It'll be hard but it sounds like it is something that you need to confront, when you're ready to.
