Pirates of the carribean - is it suitable?

Pirates of the Carribean is currently playing on Disney Channel. I haven't seen it. DD is 7y. Is it suitable?

I'd say borderline depending on your DD. If she's not easily scared then I'd say it was OK (but 2 and 3 much less OK).

I think it's ok - there is a scary bit at one point -I would watch it with her! Mine are watching it, 10 and 7 (not easily scared "Mum it's not REAL!!)

My dd thought the scary bit was funny when she was 7. I was very about her seeing it at all at that age, but every one in her class had seen it (and I'd talked to quite a few mums who confirmed this!) so when dh got it out I let them go ahead. It was OK.

She has just turned it off. Not her thing. No singing and dancing She has turned over to Phineus abd Ferb instead.
