Did anyone see this tonight? I've never watched it before and missed the beginning of this episode. I was shocked at first by how nasty the girl was been to her grandma, even if the grandma was a bit of a drip.

I just couldn't believe what a foul mouth that girl had on her and the stuff she was saying. Then I clicked why the kids were living with the grandparents and it was just so sad. I guess losing your mother at such a young age and in such awful circumstances would make anyone a bit prickly. But God they seemed like a family in need of some counselling. I just hope as she gets older the girl gets a bit less angry with life.

I thought the same about the girl, but I guess living with the generation gap and with the grief must be horrific - especially as they don't even speak of the father (understandable, but hard)

it was very sad though

I missed why the father isn't around?
