Did anyone see The Killers at T in the Park last night??

God how amazing were they? I heart Brandon anyway, but just sitting here re-watching it and thinking that they will be up there with Queen etc as one of the worlds best bands of all time.
Was lucky enough to see them in Cardiff this year, dh didnt want to go, but loved them live, he always seems to start off nervous then is clearly loving his own set by half way through.
Its the only gig ive been to where I just loved the music and jumped around like crazy and left in a big sweaty mess!!

Was anyone lucky enough to actually be there last night? What was it like, because it looked amazing on BBC3 coverage

t in teh park looked amazing. i quite liked the specials. thought they did well considering their gimmer credentials

Sitting watching it again. The crowd were fab, Twas my first time at T and I would highly reccommend. My sis and I are currently showering and getting ready for round two this afternoon, and looking forward to Elbow and Snow Patrol, although they have really big boots to fill after the Killers.

I am absolutely shattered though, and a little red, even whilst slathered in factor 30.

Watched it on telly and thought they were v good. I used to go to T in the park every year and would love to have been there this time - great line up. Was a HUGE Blur fan as a teen.

I thik it is a shame they showed the whole Killers set and only a few King of Leon songs though.

because the KOL are a poor mans Killers thats why

Didn't see KOL as only have day tickets, I need to sleep in my own bed and have access to clean toilet facilities.

Must be getting old though coz I thought that Lady Gaga was practically pornographic

I like KOL and the Killers but Brandon nudges it.... He loves the audience doesn't he? Would've loved to have been there last night. I also was put in mind of Queen for some reason, they're not like Queen but I think it's something about Brandon, maybe his quirkiness?

me and my sis are here, atmosphere is fab although snow patrol have been delayed as there is a poossibilty that blur are not coming on, someone is not well.

Sun is shining after bad rain this morning, and everyone appears to be having a really good time.

Do you think for next years' festivals organisers will be assertive and BAN ALL THE BLOODY FLAGS?
From a corporate angle the cameras are surely unable to do a long shot of the stage as you can't see anything, and if I was there I'd want to wade through the crown and rip the poxy things down.
Oh they make me cross!
But yes, The Killers were good. Not sure about the guitar players' silver bomber jacket though..

I would love it if they banned the flags, there is nothing worse than bagging yourself a great spot and then someone with a ruddy flag stands three feet in front of you!!!

It amazes me that people are prepared to stand with them for 9 hours a day over three days, it's bad enough just standing for that amount of time, without waving a great big flag on the end of a pole.

The whole thing was amazing, however I am really naive and some of the sights that I have seen really shocked me, at one point there was a group of 4 lads sitting openly snorting cocaine. You had to pick my jaw up off the floor.

I had to laugh coz all the backstage coverage is done from the hospitality area, and it looks like a palace garden compared to the main areas, which by the time we left were just giant rubbish sites.

I would go back like a shot though.
And yes I agree the silver bomber was a little strange .
