What strikes me as totally unrealistic is that Maria's parents are never mentioned. They are in Cyprus IIRC, not the moon, yet they have not flown over to see their new grandson and support their young widowed daughter? Bizarre.

So wtf is going on between maria and tony anyway. Last time i saw corrie she was screaming at him accusing him of murdering liam, next thing he's delivering her baby!

He managed to convince her that she was completely wrong, now they're having a platonic love affair which will probably devlop into a full blown reationship. This is obviously leading up to her finding out he's responsible for Liam's death, resulting in yet more histrionics on Maria's part .
