Hi Lisa, I missed last night but am watching tonight. I found it really moving watching the mum with the 2 kids and how brave she was knowing she is going to die and not see them grow up.

Could not believe the juice and enema diet!!!! How would you have a life and do that?

i worked with a family in my previous job and mum had breast cancer and was leaving behide two children. It was sooo sad and she was so brave. That one has stayed with me forever.

Oh no, I didn't realise this was a 2 parter and watched the first one last night without knowing to record the second one. Can anyone let me know what happened in the second, did Dawn have the MRI and did it show anything? Just wondered what her final decision on things were.
thanks.

she had MRI and gene tests, shes fine nothing at all. She still has 40% chance of developing it, but not signs yet and not in the 80% group.

Thanks lisa, I hate not knowing the ending! It really made me think, my grandmother died at 47 from breast cancer. I did my first proper self test having, as Dawn said, poked and prodded and felt awful things before. It was good to learn how to do it properly and they felt much more normal that way!

It was a really good programme. Usually Dawn Porter's confessional stuff can be a bit melodramatic but this time it was really informative, importantly so.

It was so heartbreaking, the mother in the first episode who had made a memory box and Dawn could let her know how much it would mean to her daughter in the future. That was so very moving.
