can't help yelling at the TV. STAND UP WOMAN!

Scary for her though.

Also pointed out to DH that had she made it to hospital she'd more than likely ended up with a section.

must stop getting overinvolved

princessmel · 01/07/2009 19:48

Poor dad missed it, he was told to go to hospital, and went , and then it all happened at home!

Jeez. That was hard work watching that, i was pushing too.

And another thing. 2 lots of paramedic crews watching the poor girl.

And If the baby is born at home allbeit accidentally. and everything is fine nd hunkydory, what's the point of being transferred into hospital?

princessmel · 01/07/2009 19:55

One of the twins looked like it needed help to breath. And they were 5 weeks early.

Agree about the audience. Maybe its because of the cameras.

my 15 year old neigbour went into labour at home went to hospital and was sent home, she got home had a bath then really wanted to push, they called the midwife and the paramedics, so she lays on her mums bed, the midwife arrives with her student midwife, and then two paramedics arrive and then an on call doc, bless her she has an audiance, but no camara crew

saggyhairyarse · 01/07/2009 22:05

I think he was first response and they arrived to transfer but were too late as she better where she was.

She did well to push two babies out, one breech, on gas and air!

candyfluff · 02/07/2009 14:14

aw just watched this on iplayer -brought a tear to my eye

miniandme · 02/07/2009 15:42

Yip 2 crews were because there were twins too as in case first baby had to be rushed off,she would have been transferred just to be checked over and babies were 5 weeks early, really felt for the dad when he came in and first saw his gorgeous little girls.
Said to dh see at least i didnt make that much noise and yes i did have twins on gas and air lol !!

bronze · 02/07/2009 22:32

Eccentrica- I was feeling like that. Plus 'yu need to get that babies head out stop screaming and use the energy to push'

think shes did bloody well though considering
