Mentalist. Should I bother?

So I thought I would give The mentalist a go now ER has walked out on me. Is it worth my time and concentration?

Nope. 'Lie to Me' is far superior IMHO.I just foudn the lead actor in The Mentalist really irritating, or maybe I'm just being intolerant

DH says its OK, not gritty enough for him.

It's a pile of poorly-written pants. Big fat hairy man bollocks. Lie To Me is far superior, I agree.

He's cute but it's samey and predictable and as BOF says, poorly written.
