Why doesn't she just empty the bin if it smells fgs instead of squirting gallons of air fresher crap at it if it smells????????

We don't have a kitchen bin - we hang a carrier bag off the cupboard handle and it gets taken out at least once a day. I can't stand bins because they just get full and smelly and tea bag dribbles all down them and they get fuller and fuller then it turns into a big job to get the liner out and take it to the wheelie bin.........

So lets just all have a mahoosive bin and squirt air freshener at it when the contents get out of control

aaaaaaand breathe.

But SGK why can't you buy an outside bin from a garden centre or somewhere and store the rubbish bags in there until bin day?

SparklyGothKat · 03/06/2009 10:22

I keep meaning to buy a bin for the garden, but it always gets forgotten lol

haven't seen the ad, don't have an outside bin supplied, did buy my own.

and boak at spraying to kill smells, agree - empty it.

Ds1 is terrified by that advert and keeps asking me 'mummy, why are the monsters coming out of the bin'?

And yes, bleurgh to using air fresheners. They don't get rid of the smell and just mingle with the original smell to create a vicious stench (experience from student days)
