Before you all go please can someone tell me who won tonight?

I had (foolishly it seems) assumed it was a 1.5hr programme tonight like the weekend ones were. Have just turned over from the missing link programme on BBC1 (very interesting and a bit intellectual) to discover its all finished!

Stressed get the kids to put on a talent show tomorrow night.

Stavos the greek dad and kid and Shaheen the welsh singing kid. It was a pretty dire show tonight.

I'm pleased Shaheen got through I thought he seemed really talented (although no idea whether he was any good tonight). I have no idea who Stavos is (not sure I want to know ).

The right 2 acts got through but is it just me or have none of the semi-finalists improved from their first auditions?

Have tried to watch it on itv iplayer or whatever its called.

I can see that a dancing dad and son and the welsh singing kid got through.

Is there any kind mumsnet soul who can(a) tell me who the others were tonite, was one of them teally the nice saxophone busker?

and (B) remind me that it isn't on tomorrow is it cos that's the footie.

just trying to sort out my tv for the week, I am not normally a tv watcher.

There was a guy pretending to be a sax, but I think you are meaning a person playing a real sax? The human sax was pretty awful. You also sadly (not) missed the scary dance troup, the brother and sister ballrooom act and the rest I have forgotten, they were so rubbish.

I am quite disappointed this year, the standard of the semifinals has been awful. I don't know why they put so many shite acts through.

Oh, and the floral arranging/opera couple. They were truly abysmal.

Diversity are brilliant, Flawless are great but have been on the dance circuit for a while now and are lucky enough to already have a manager. My vote is going to the Essex boys, Diversity!

It does somehow feel more justified to want an act that hasn't had a break or got management.
However, all the acts are entitled to be there and therefore treated equally. Diversity and Flawless are both great and it will come down to the performances on Saturday I think. At the moment though Flawless are just a bit more slick and would get my vote.

That was just my opinion.

Diversity and Flawless are very very similar but when they first danced Flawless were more into their formations and lines whereas Diversity are a street dance group and that style showed. I did notice however that for the second dance Flawless still had their lines etc., but had introduced the fun/show street element that Diversity have. That does make me think they may have the edge, although i don't want them to as Diversity are well known round here and i have my loyalties!!

Oh yes!!!!!
