Last night I watched a programme called "In bed with Yvette and Carl"

Yes, I know, hardly intellectual viewing, but I was bored. Did anyone else watch it? It was Yvette Fielding (most haunted) and her DH.
Did anyone else watch it? I was a bit opened mouthed all the way through TBH

Yes, and it actually made me cry, which does not happen often. The way she was so emotional when he came back from America and surprised her, made me realise how different that is to my marriage. They are obviously very in love.

They are obviously besotted with each other but his behaviour was odd. I can't make up my mind if he has that weird sense of humour all the time or played it up for the cameras. All that talking about her vagina and well, I just thought he was odd. I remember watching that hospital programme she presented years ago and he proposed live on air

his behaviour on "most haunted" is legendary in our house!! we renamed the programme to just "carl"

I watched it. The other channels were a bit slow and DP went to bed early.

Spent most of the time thinking, 'I can't believe I'm actually watching this.'

I was wondering, don't they have two children and if so, why didn't they show the boy (I think) on screen?

they do get on my nerves. most haunted annoys me.

I was struck by how they are really into each other but not so much over the kids...(obviously made for tv so not necessarily a truthful representation). Also - her hair - who the heck cuts it so badly? Even on Jonathan Ross bad, bad, badly cut layers wtf?

Does anyone remember when French and Saunders did a spoof 'Most Haunted'? Yvette's mascara on night vision was so funny!

Fairynuff - maybe she did a "mumsnet" hairdo and it was too short! It does look odd in that short style though
