BT Vision v's Sky .... advice needed please!

Hi

We're new to uk and are trying to decide what tv service to use. We were thinking SKY but have had some difficulties getting it installed etc and have had one box needing replacement already.

I've read about BT vision, does anyone have it? Is it any good? The marketing material looks good, but thats always the case. I'd love some first hand comments if possible.

My friend has the BT Vision and raves about it.

We have Sky and although it's good in a lot of ways, we are on our 3rd box as previous ones have broken down. If/when this one dies we will be out of warranty and will cancel and probably go for a satelite recorder which is a £250-ish layout but free every month after that.

my sis had bt vision upstairs in her house and sky downstairs. the bt vision is still new and has alot of teething problems! After 3 months with bt vision being very terpremental about when it would work she decided it was easier to get a rerouter and have sky upstairs! BT home hub also bad!!
