PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 07/05/2009 22:27

i like my man to be a man - too groomed is a turn off for me

CheeryCherry · 07/05/2009 22:27

Eeww...this bits not funny

poshwellies · 07/05/2009 22:29

I like a trimmed man I'm actually shocked at how many actually do shave/trim by this programme's report.

Interesting programme actually-dh is watching with interest!

i am a bit about that pubic trimming in men figure

AnyFucker · 07/05/2009 22:31

my dh is asleep

I don't think it is going to inspire him...

poshwellies · 07/05/2009 22:31

Anyone else feeling faint after the nose job footage?

I don;t think the reporter bloke looks as bad as he thinks he does, bodywise. I wouldn't send him home once he'd got his kit off.

Needs to get rid of the beard though.

hellymelly · 07/05/2009 22:32

My dh would laugh himself silly at the thought of trimmed man garden. But then he is very low maintenance.

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 07/05/2009 22:33

mine is decorating ( real man!)

i would have chosen the presenter from all the men on the pedestals

no point having a lot between the legs if there is nowt between the ears

hellymelly · 07/05/2009 22:51

Yes I second that-he has lovely eyes too.How are you PYBF? I am slowly recovering from Lloyd Cole's fall from grace.

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 07/05/2009 22:54

i went in search of some obscure lloyd cole tunes and am now having a revival helly!

hellymelly · 07/05/2009 22:59

I was dancing around to "brand new friend" this morning.I was even thinking of playing some ...(whisper it..)Japan!

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 07/05/2009 23:03

i need images helly

they are absent on your profile

hellymelly · 07/05/2009 23:09

Yes I need to put some on,I have never got round to it.I am not a total 80's throwback nut,in fact I look more like a landgirl,or maybe Vera Drake (!?)but I do still love Lloyd cole, even the really recent stuff.Other than that it is pre-war all the way as I sit on the sofa with my tiny girls all singing along to Fred Astaire.Mine must be the only four year old in the land who talks about Betty Grable, even if she called her Petty Grumble for about a year by mistake.

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 07/05/2009 23:12

how lovely your life sounds!!!!!

hellymelly · 07/05/2009 23:20

Well I have moved from central London to a village in rural Wales, and I am a full time Mama, with a four year old and a toddler who was two a week ago.Where are you? What do you do?

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 07/05/2009 23:41

i live on the border of north yorkshire and west yorkshire and am mother to 6 from 9 months to 16

we run our own business -dp is vet i do business side of things!

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 07/05/2009 23:41

someone offered me a holiday home in whitesands bay today...

hellymelly · 08/05/2009 22:07

That is pretty close to us,we are near Cardigan. This coast is really lovely, you should come.I am so jealous of six children! I would have loved four but I started really late so I think it may be just the two, although I am agonising about a third...six must be brilliant. Our friend has six girls. She had stopped at four but got preg by accident and had identical twins,so straight to six.Lovely.Lucky you.

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 08/05/2009 22:23

helly you are NOT too old for one more

hellymelly · 08/05/2009 22:35

Hmm-I am agonising over it,I think three can be a tricky number, and I am dog-tired from waking all the time with my still breastfed toddler (she was two this week). If I was 35 I would be waiting a year or two to really recover and then having another, but I ain't 35..so...I also don't fancy a third c-section much, but I do have baby hunger.Must be great, your job.Do you have any animals?

PaulaYatesBiggestFan · 08/05/2009 22:44

no!! 6 dcs is enough without something else yowing to be fed!!

we did have a cat who was killed last summer very sad!

Children are great but age takes its toll!

hellymelly · 08/05/2009 22:59

We have all these fantasy conversations about the animals we want-We just have a doggy and have recently got chickens. We would love another cat but our last was run over too and it was horrible, that was in London but we are on the main road through the village here and it is too fast a road to risk a cat, much as we all want another. In fact we want to move at some point to get a cat.DH is a biologist turned environmental researcher and I am particularly keen on birds so my dds know all sorts of odd stuff about animals.I love hearing my toddler tell people she has seen a cormorant or a curlew.
