Digital TVs and ceefax

We've just bought our first TV in years and are working our way through the handbook. Am I right in saying that Ceefax isn't on digital TV? I really miss it for a quick look at what is coming up with a few details of each programmme and for subtitles, when the kids are making a noise!

We have a digital telly and can still get subtitles - there is a special button on the remote. Also the 'red button' functions in much the same way as Ceefax in terms of news, weather etc. We also have a special button which acts as a programme guide - tells you whats on now/next and brief details of the programme.
