Congratulations! A cracking film...from what I can tell from the bits I have watched

But I cannot ground a 1 and 2 year old...

We made DD watch that today! She is funny, she huffed and puffed (in a jokey kinda 'oh daddy!' way) and then sat in complete silence!

DH loves a Sunday war film and a nap! He got a whole load for his birthday and we are gradually working out way through them. DD must watch them all!!

God, I remember when it first came out! It was such a mega film.

I also recommend 'The Battle of the Bulge'! It's sure to be on again soon...

My absolute fave though is Dambusters - now that I have seen all the way to the end.

Maureen - I remember as child my grandad was babysitting and made us sit through Ricahrd Burton in "The Desert Rats" all the way to the end, becasue he had been a desert rat
