I've been watching the new series this week, + think how nice it is to see each individual child having his/her "special day" with their parents.

It's nice for the viewer as you get a bit more insight into each child rather than all of them in a cluster!

Aunt Jodie seems to feature a lot, she deserves a medal taking on all those children every time!!

It's on Discovery on Sky, number 254 at 2.30 in the afternoon. It's also on in the evenings, between 8.30 + 9.30 I think?

I watch this I love it, the sextuplets are only 11 days older than my dd2. Alexis is exactly like my dd2, the tantrums, the cheeky faces and things she says. We spend the whole episode saying that's just like dd2.
I also saw some of this series when we were on holiday in Canada last year, although the episodes I saw then must be further on in the series as we haven't got to them yet.

I love this programme and the one on before it . Little people big world.

BunnyLebowski · 30/04/2009 10:41

Don't watch this but coincidentally a big story broke yesterday in the states when the dad (Jon I presume?) was caught red-handed with another woman.

overweightnoverdrawn · 30/04/2009 10:46

noooooo

overweightnoverdrawn · 30/04/2009 10:47

she will have his guts for garters . I bet he wont come out alive if Kate has anything to do with it .

chocolategal · 30/04/2009 13:37

No way!!!
Must go google that!
That will be the end of the programme i guesss!?

chocolategal · 30/04/2009 13:48

heres a bit about it

Pinkjenny · 30/04/2009 13:52

OMG!!

My BF and I were only talking about this on Monday, how Kate always looks in control, and he just wanders around looking completely p*ssed off at having so many children!

inscotland · 03/05/2009 22:12

oooh I must be the only one that wants to slap Kate!

bronze · 04/05/2009 11:57

No I waver between admiration and wanting to slap her

bronze · 04/05/2009 11:58

where does he find time to have an affair

the other thing I've never quite worked out id their income

expatinscotland · 04/05/2009 11:58

No. They are fundamentalists and also I think they were irresponsible. I won't line their pockets watching those self-congratulatory nutjobs.

luckylady74 · 04/05/2009 12:02

I love this programme. Every time I felt I had it hard with twins and a 2 yrs older sibling - this made me realise that my life is easy.
I really really understand where her control freakery comes from (ie necessity) and I love the way she always says I'd do it if I just had 2 so why not with 8?
Very sorry for her if her dh has been unfaithful-can't believe he has the energy!

Ambi · 04/05/2009 12:02

bunny I heard that story too

I've never seen religion mentioned in the programme (but then I watch it with half an eye) and I think they've got a lot to congratulate themseves on.
I agree with the irresponsibility of that kind of fertility treatmnet. On the other hand when I had my ivf treatment when I had it a second time (after getting pregnant with a singleton the first time) I honestly didn't contemplate the possibility of having twins - despite the 2 embryos. It's like the possibility of having kids has seemed so impossible that multiples seems even more impossible.

expatinscotland · 04/05/2009 12:08

'but coincidentally a big story broke yesterday in the states when the dad (Jon I presume?) was caught red-handed with another woman.'

At least he doesn't have to worry about getting her pregnant.

onthepier · 06/05/2009 20:06

I heard this too, wonder if it's true?

Didn't think Kate came over well in the episode I saw recently. While her and John are taking each child out individually for a special treat, Aunt Jody has been having all the others at her house, (each time)!

Kate said quite openly that the children were getting fed up with going there and she doesn't blame them!

I'm sure Aunt Jody finds it hard work having them all by herself, after all she's giving up her own time to help Kate and John out! I thought Kate's comment came over as most ungrateful.
