Who is the god awful woman presenting the wright stuff?

She is appalling!

She is spouting loads of sexist claptrap to the extent that all the men on the panel are having to talk like staunch feminists to balance it!

it's really odd.

Oh my god the caller just said she always makes sure she looks nice and dresses up for her husband and has a "3 strikes" rule for sex that if she doesn't fancy it she says no twice but the third time she forces herself.

Presenter's response was "wow that sounds really good, that sounds like a wonderfully balanced relationship".

WTF???

She is Fiona Phillips and used to present GMTV until Dec. I was so relieved she was off our screens and then she crops up on this!!
Definitely bring back Matthew and never use Fiona again to cover!

I really really hope that they never invite her back. Hopefully her fluffing all her lines will be enough, even if they don't realise how utterly unwatchable she is generally.

She was awful. Banging out really tired sexist views about keeping your man happy etc. The good thing about matthew is that on some topics he comes out with the last thing you'd expect. Mind you I didn't expect a woman on prime time TV in 2009 to be saying "better get your lippy on" about a callers husband coming home from work.

Then when gail porter was a bit about the whole thing she said "well you wouldn't want relationship advice from gail hahaha".

What a bitch.

God, I thought that bit was awful!
She was appalling all the way through, but that phone-in just made me, and probably hundreds of women feel crap. Lying on the sofa with all my baby weight, breast-feeding my DS I almost felt sorry for my DH, then I snapped out of it .

I saw about 5 minutes of yesterday's show and was wincing in pain watching her...she sounded like a music hall compère, no subtlety at all. How she is a professional presenter I have no idea. I'm giving it a miss until Matthew comes back.

It was dreadful wasn't it. The idea that men will only stay with women if they "make an effort" and are up for it sexually is ludicrous.

That the presenter was seemingly saying this was true - you could see the 2 blokes and desperately trying to balance it out.

I was waiting for someone to point out that the sort of bloke who cheats will cheat whatever, and the sort of bloke who won't, won't, and the guests sort of touched on it, but she didn't pick up on that at all.

Gail didn't seem her usual self with that cow there either.

BTW I saw her (Gail) in a pub last week! (Jumps up and down excited!)

I'm going to have to watch it tomorrow to see just how awful she is. I've never liked Fiona Phillips either. Her column in the Mirror is dire.

My DH came and woke me up to tell me that today this woman said that feminists let women down??!!

I must admit I sky+'d it and am watching it now.

If she starts spouting sexist shite again seriously I might email them. I'm about to have baby no 2 and I need this program to be good to keep me sane!
