Hollyoaks -weird couple ?

Whats the story with the couple who are after Amy and Steve's baby does anyone know ?
(am hoping Im not the only hollyoaks fan on here !

Im wondering if they are trying to replace a baby they lost or are in a cult or something, hope someone knows !

dd did say they were police but that doesnt ring true.

Me too! Me too! Baby eating/sacrificing cult is my guess. You know it's something really bad if they have to have a late night episode to cover it.

BTW, what's the story with Amy - is the actress ill or something? It seems like a really odd storyline that she's just buggered off, seems like they've just thrown it together.

That couple are going to steal baby Lucas - I'm sure of it!

Maybe something happened to their own baby or they can't have children or something (not that that makes it ok to steal someone else's!)

Ok I'm resurrecting this thread...... I'm confused. They work for a charity but also steal babies?? Does anyone else think they pursuade incompetent parents to give up their children then sell them to the highest bidder....??? That is my current theory. And does theguy who runs it know that Abby wants Lucas for herself????????

Maybe they've kidnapped Amy and she'll escape and come to save baby Lucas from their evil clutches? Definitely got to be a baby-selling scam they're running...

I think they're in a cult as I predicted up thread. As they said the baby is "For The Family"

Many cults use charities as a way of getting funds and looking respectable.

I think they're illegal adopters - they said Lucas was for the other family but she wasn't going to sell him cos she wants to keep him

Katiekitty, do you know that just occurred to me as well. The whole Amy running off thing is just too weird. Plus she told Mike to give Lucas to Ste? Never though she'd do that. I reckon they've got Amy in their evil clutches and are forcing her to say what they tell her to to Mike.
