I hadn't seen her since she was in that thing with Noddy Holder (about a school I think), then I saw her about 6 months ago and didn't recognise her. What has she done? Did she really need to have so much work done, surely she's not that old?

Botox and her lips have been done she looks like a thunderbird puppet. Shame really as I quite like her.

It is a shame because she used to have a fresh healthy look (I remeber seeing her on the cover of a magazine in a health shop years ago looking v natural). She really annoys me now. Maybe it is partly due to the plastic look.

Now, that can't be a comfortable outfit to go motorbiking in.

Totally agree about Thunderbirds look re the lips. It looks as though she has had a heap of botox - a real wind tunnel effect. Sad.

I also don't get how she is qualified to judge a talent show (nor Piers Morgan for that matter!)

apart from the obvous messing about with big motorbikes, what do women like AH think they are doing? She looks just spooky, and not in a good way. What will she look like in say 15 yrs time? She doesn't look youthful, just strangely preserved. But next to Piers Morgan (why is he on that programme btw? and that other bloke she looks "fragrant".

when i see women obviously messed with - versus the `judi Dench / Vanessa Redgrave / whatsername from the Police thing ...I am beginning to truly believe that aged beauty is so far superior to plasticoated mediocrity

i while back i would have said yes to loads of surgery

now i think twice..

My DH thinks Helen Mirren is gorgeous and she hasn't had any work - very encouraging for me in the future!

It's great when women like the above look marvellous at their age and are blessed with fabulous genes but not everyone can look like that (amply illustrated every time I glance down at my withering hands or in the mirror at my jowly face )

But, really, it's either that or fiddle about with botox or whatever and end up looking like my face has been sealed under cellophane or staple-gunned to the back of my head which is just glaringly obvious to anyone that looks.

I;d rather go the first way: jowly and wrinkled- because the other way also says "unspeakably vain" which is also very unnattractive.

To do it when you're still very young - ie amanda holden and danni minogue is just bonkers. (Perhaps Simon Cowell gets them a special rate?)
