What I find interesting though, is if someone is into the finer things in life, they get really slated for it but its not the done thing to say to them well actually, you are a bit common (if they are that is)....she was a bit OTT but that other woman got so drunk she couldn't remember what she had done the night before and no-one commented on what bad manners that was!

To be fair, even though she was irritating and condescending, I don't think she needed to be taken down quite so many pegs, and I think she was reasonably dignified given how bloody rude the other contestants were.

Have to say I've never seen anyone on this take losing quite so seriously and badly before.

Yes Puss, but like in many areas of life, if you're seen as the underdog you can say what you like. The prettier/richer/'posher'/more intelligent/whatever are fair game for piss taking. Apparently .

Reminds me of when I was a student oop North and how many of us southerners were called 'Jessies'... there was even a club night called 'Students Fuck of Down South'. Can you imagine a club night in Tonbridge Wells called 'Northern Students are Scum'... I digress but I get your point Puss.

OMG - the DJ won? Thought it was rather funny when the other guy (not the DJ) was reading the menu and shouted it to his work colleagues

The posh woman's menu did kind of get lost in the translation...

I don't see the point in tarting it all up language wise...I mean at basics, it was venison (sp!) with veg and a nice gravy...why call it a gateaux of whatever she called it! Good food should speak for itself and not have to be all tarted up!
