Can someone explain ER tonight to me please?

Were we supposed to understand what happened to the girl (Jodie?) Or is it a 'to be continued...' Or am I just being thick?

I think the boyfriend had tried to strangle her as she had red marks around her neck when they were putting her into the ambulance.

The father was angry because he toldthe boyfreind not to come to the house and he did anyway? Thnk he had attacked the girl though.
Feel sad that it is ending though. Am I the only one who doesn't like Sam though. She really irritates me now. Wish neela and ray would get together although I think she needs some antidepressants or a kick up the arse.

Really love the way Archie's character has matured over time - but then when Carter left he told Archie it was up to him to 'set the tone' which is what Greene said to Carter when he left...[sob]

Simon has grown on me since he broke down and revealed his abuse to Archie - I though the actor's performance in that episode was really heart-breaking. I just want to warn him away from Neela the Destroyer!

Agree about Sam - she dumps Gates but he's not allowed to see anyone else? She has really out-stayed her welcome.

To my shame I only just realised this week that Sam's character also played Velma in Scooby Doo....lol...when watching Scooby I always knew she looked famlar, but I couldn't work out why....

I tape ER on Skyplus, and watched it tonight. Good episode. I want Archie and the policewoman to get together. Am so loving the term "thrisis" but am a few years off before I can use it myself

Can I ask one q though. I missed a few episodes of the last series, I get that Neela slept with Simon in the last series (as I think thats how it was at the beginning of this series) but what made them not stay together? Or did I dream that?

Only a few more weeks until Doug Ross appears.

If you missed the episode about Dr Banfields son then you missed seeing Dr Romano (with 2 arms) and Dr Weaver (with crutches)

There are a few who haven't appeared in this last series who I'd like to see.

Yes Jeanie came back because her ds was ill. She and the cop had split up but they had joint custody. She does something for an AIDS charity.

Notmyelftoday Neela has already slept with Simon at the begining of the series, but it was a one night stand as in her opinion he was a player, so it was just no strings sex. Also when Simon asked her if she wanted to do it again another time, she said no way she wasn't interested at all, and Simon arropantly said "you will" so the last episode when she said he would say " I told you so" comes from that.

Hang on - the neela thing makes no sense. The little girl only survived in the final dream, and in that dream, neela slept with Simon. So now I'm just confused - are the dreams a combo of what happened?

Did the girl kill the boyfriend not the father? That's what I thought - he was protecting her, but she killed him or tried to because he was a complete psycho.

Does anyone think they seem to have much easier lives than in the "old days"? Didn't ross and carter and the gang all practically live at the hospital, sleeping in on call rooms etc? These people seem to have very clearly dilineated shifts.

I didn't think that episode had "dreams" - I thought it was basically showing what would happen if timing was just slightly different or if doctors went with a different course of action when there are two viable options.

Anyway I have seen the final episode so I won't say any more for fear of giving any spoilers away!
