anyone see it - did I just see mumsnet? Just flashed up on screen when she was searching the net.

This programme is annoying me, Louise wingeing about maybe not being slim enough to fit in to undies for a catalogue underwear shoot 9 weeks after a c-section. FFS your lucky to be pregnant get a grip.

I know it's making me mad too, highlighting weight issues in pregnancy isn't helping anyone, it's just normalising it [mad]

Ceebee74 · 26/03/2009 21:30

Oh me too - as if a normal person would sign up to do an underwear shoot so soon after a c-section.

Bloody slebs - they just can't bear to be away from the limelight when they are pg - sorry it is a bit of a bugbear of mine!!

(And I usually like Louise Redknapp aswell so am disappointed!)

I mean why would she sign up to do the shoot in the first place? It's really pissing me off (35 weeks pregnant myself) Programs like this just make pregnant women feel they should have an issue with their weight when maybe they didn't before. Media pressure ffs, I hate what this world is coming too [mad]

SatHereSitting · 26/03/2009 21:35

even that's how mad I am!!

Ewe · 26/03/2009 21:38

This is just reinforcing everything that the media rams down our throats! For this programme to be of any use she should have just taken things at her own pace.

Bloody meedja.

she should be enjoying her babymoon

SatHereSitting · 26/03/2009 21:41

Ewe that's what I feel. This way she's no better than what she's preaching about.

How good did those Americian women look after the 'mommy make over' surgery though? Wouldn't mind abit of that myself tbh

blossombelle · 26/03/2009 21:41

9 hrs surgery?!!! what about looking after your baby?

NorbertDentressangle · 26/03/2009 21:42

Don't celebs that have planned sections also have a tummy-tuck thrown in anyway?

MamaHobgoblin · 26/03/2009 21:43

I don't really get it. I thought the premise of the programme was that Louise was going to shake her head ruefully at slebs going all out to lose their baby weight or not even put it on in the first place - but she's just reinforcing these pathetic values! She's said it's sad that women want to go to extremes, yet she's obsessed with losing her own weight.

loler · 26/03/2009 21:44

Thought it was just me - stupid woman!!!!

Am so angry and should really turn over but can't believe such an awful programme has been put on TV.

She seems to be saying it's OK to put all efforts into losing weight after a baby. Surely should be putting all effort into looking after yourself and dc.

blossombelle · 26/03/2009 21:44

why has louise left her baby to go to america to film this shit?

giraffescantdancethetango · 26/03/2009 21:44

Oh fuck off Louise, some of us cant even carry babies long enough to get huge bumps, and you are all stressed about losing 2lbs. Live in the real world you jumped up sleb.

OP posts:
NorbertDentressangle · 26/03/2009 21:44

Did LK just say that she left her 8wk old baby back in the UK whilst shes in the USA or did I mishear that ???

NorbertDentressangle · 26/03/2009 21:46

oops, by LK I obviously meant LR

Bertolli · 26/03/2009 21:46

i was just wondering the same thing, blossom.

blossombelle · 26/03/2009 21:46

no, she has left the baby

EmmaBridgewater956 · 26/03/2009 21:47

who is looking after the baby??

SatHereSitting · 26/03/2009 21:47

Herb I've put on 3 stone already, but I'm under no pressure to lose it, more concerned about my extensive stretch marks tbh, they are hideous

It's just shows like this really annoy me, they come across all helpful and innocent when really they are as bad and damaging as the trash mags they are criticising.

Like the size zero thing, it was shocking when it was first reported, then it became the norm and wasn't shocking anymore, so they bring along 'double zero craze' and now this. Just makes me want to scream.

Ceebee74 · 26/03/2009 21:47

This programme is just getting worse - leaving your 8-week old baby to fly to America???

Stop publicity-hunting and get back to your new-born baby fgs (I tell ya, if I had her husband at home, I certainly wouldn't be flying to America )

I am so disappointed - I really really thought this programme was going to be Louise not succumbing to the pressure to lose weight - when she is actually just perpetuating the whole thing!!

Bertolli · 26/03/2009 21:47

Yes that's right Norbert.

SmallShips · 26/03/2009 21:48

I always thought she was quite a 'normal' sleb, but shes actually really fucking annoying and why she felt the need to go to the States and leave her 2 month old baby to film this bollocks is beyond me.

I thought it was going to be telling us the dangers of skinny pregnancies and relax after the birth but shes seems to be doing the opposite.

Dick.

EmmaBridgewater956 · 26/03/2009 21:50

OMG - the chunks of belly fat....I can't watch
