Oooh, I have taped it but not watched yet. I am addicted to The Daily Show with John Stewart and am so hoping this is going to be a uk version.

The best bit so far is the call for a revolution, by Linda Bellingham on Loose Women, ha ha.

Scrap that, Natasha Kaplinsky is the best.

Although I enjoyed it, I didn't think it was as good as Screenwipe. But then again that is a hard act to follow. My particular favourite was the clip of the news with a train journey being used to illustrate what is happening with the economy. Plus the Fritzl cracks with the blue folder were funny too.

bluebump · 26/03/2009 21:05

Oh I missed it, I will have to iplayer it too.

francagoestohollywood · 26/03/2009 21:14

Oh I used to watch CB and read his column in the guardian when in the UK. I really enjoyed it. Yet another thing I miss!

Yes! I'm not sure how the formula is going to work on a regular basis, but like most stuff Brooker does, I was by turns wetting myself with laughter and then sobered up by something very poignant.

Loving pixellation being described as a transmission from the Lego dimension.

love him !

I so agree with you about that. I thought the part about the German mass shooting was incredibly moving and so thought provoking too.

he did a very touching piece about Oliver Postgate when he died
