I caught this tonight after not watching it for a while.

Can anyone explain what ken is up to?

and How come Maria and Tony are now friends?!!

Ken has a "friend" he met while walking Blanche's dog. She's into amdram and is much more exciting than poor old Deirdre, but she doesn't know he's married.

Maria has become convinced that Tony didn't kill Liam, and because he forgave her her wild outbursts she's willing to be more open to him. He's been helping out with the business that Liam ran with his cousin, most of which now belongs to Maria.

Rumour has it that Tony and Maria will become more than friends.

Ken's friend Martha is everything Dierdre is not. She makes scrambled eggs with chives ffs and played Blanche DuBois in the amdram version of Streetcar Named Desire. I love it when Corrie does storylines about Ken being all literary and middle class!
