I'm fairly new to Waterloo Road and love it! (started watching last series) So I have some questions

  1. What happened to Maxine? (not the Earl thing, the baby thing..)

  2. Who was Jack and who was he seeing behind Steph's back?

  3. How did Tom end up looking after the 2 girls that aren't his?

  4. How did Steph end up looking after Max?

Thanks

I only watched the first couple of series so only know a few answers!

  1. Don't know
  1. Jack was the headmaster, Steph was his (tries to put this politely) bit of stuff, she was more into him than he was to her, he fell in love with Davina (she was his P.a. at one point, not sure if she is still in it as a t.a. now??). But Davina had an affair with one of the pupils, who's father was trying to plough money into the school to turn it into an academy.
  1. Tom lived with Chlo & Mika's mum, she was killed.
  1. I think (don't quote me this could be wrong) they have a scheme where the teachers can foster a child. Another of the male teachers looks after a different girl.

OOh, new questions now.... If Davina had an affair with a pupil, then how is she still a Trainee Teacher??

Hi Jodie - have to admit to watching WR since it started and do enjoy it as a bit of fluffy relaxation! Will do my best woth your questions but am sure someone will come along and correct me if I go wrong.

Max used to see lewis Seddon (the guy who attacked Kim Campbell) but lost a baby and burried it in the school grounds - it was then discovered and featured in a programme.

Jack was the old headteacher before Rachel - he never really got with Steph, but saw Davina Shackleton (the TA) and Steph got annoyed

Tom used to be married to Lorna who killed herself then he got with Issy (Lornas best friend (cant remember if they got married) but then she died inhe fire at the school - Chlo and her sister Mika were Issys daughters and then lived with Tom until Chlo moved out with Donte.

Steph became Max's legal guardian because she didnt have any parents she could live with and was trying to get back on track (after being involved with Lewis, drugs etc) so Steph took her in as she was on her own etc.

Hope this helps - looking forward to this evening!

It was before she joined the school and she reckoned she didn't know how old he is (even though he looked 12) Davina is a trollop. As is Tom. Davina needs to watch it though as Tom's women tend to die nasty deaths.

It's all soooooo realistic. But yes, has me hooked too. (even though I would have had a pillow over Max's face a long time ago)

and Jack and Steph had a couple of flings behind Davina's back..
God, I hate liking this programme!

Pickled- didn't Lewis's brother stab Izzy?
(one of few episodes I missed, but I thought she'd been done in rather than die in terrible accident type thing???)

JODIEwantsanewname · 25/03/2009 10:47

Oh thanks guys, clears alot up... I just love it! (I am abit in love with Tom, and although I;m ashamed to say it, Marley! ) I hate Davina, she should keep her sticky nose out, she's such a busy body, I'd hate to work with someone like her!

I don't like her ratty hair.
(insert shallow emoticon)
I loved Jack. (but more so when he was in Cutting It)

pickledHAN · 25/03/2009 11:05

Hi again - think youre right it was Lewis brother who stabbed Issy - oh so many dramas have hit that school! And why oh why do I still want to do a secondary pgce after watch something like 5 series of this?!!

Bucharest · 25/03/2009 11:34

Me too- I always think I should have been a proper teacher (am an EFL one IRL) when I watch WR!

coochicoo · 25/03/2009 13:15

Yes, Izzy was stabbed. I love this programme but highly doubt that working in a school with 'challenging' students is quite so cushy! People seem to turn their lives around so quickly.
