Really good article on the One Show with Cerrie reporting on what it is like for disable artists and models and children with disabilities.

She was sitting with children who were asking her about her disability and were just fascinated by it.

Shame it couldn't have been a longer more indepth article.

I was shocked and saddened by the attitudes of some of the complaining parents .

I was stunned that there are people who would complain about her being on telly. A reason to have more people with disabilities on telly if you ask me! Children aren't scared by disability, they are curious and interested.

Yep! my DC2 asked me why the lady was in a pushchair today, in a very load voice as is a 3 1/2 year old wont. Cue me looking embarrased but explaining what a wheelchair is and why some people need one. So off he trots and says to the lady 'Hello, I like your wheels, is it fun'

But she was really lovely with him and chatted to him about her wheelchair.
