wheresmyfroggy · 19/04/2005 08:31

Is he BGD?

JoolsToo · 19/04/2005 08:35

how many Scottish politicians are there in parliament?

JulieF · 19/04/2005 23:21

Yes it was 3 netmums on there this morning. There will be two on tomorrow morning too questioning Tony Blair. I didn;t put myself forward as dh didn't like the idea of me being on TV !!!

hub2dee · 20/04/2005 08:33

Maybe we can send three of our minxiest, most articulate, most politically knowledgable MNers, and utterly stun the politicians / interviewer with our wit and wherewithall and secure national press interest turning MN into a political force to be reckoned with ?

A question - is netmums bigger than mumsnet then? (i.e. more members etc)

PuffTheMagicDragon · 20/04/2005 08:46

We should send Lou 33 - all the men would be drooling and hanging on her every word.

JulieF · 20/04/2005 10:14

I don't know about whether it is bigger or not (I have no idea how many members mumsnet has) its just different becasue its local. This political stuff is becasue of a recent survey carried out on the site about what mums want from the election, the results were published in one of the nationals and GMTV picked up on it.

For most of these TV things they also want people from certain Geographical areas.

lou33 · 20/04/2005 10:20

Think mn has about 20,000 members

JulieF · 20/04/2005 10:44

Netmums has around 100,000 registered members though as with any website some may have just registered once then not returned, others use the site on a regular basis.

handlemecarefully · 20/04/2005 11:18

So it's bigger then (but probably not better)

Twiglett · 20/04/2005 11:26

I vote we send Cod - and make her speak the way she types

Gobbledigook · 20/04/2005 11:27

Or we could send NDP in that bikini - now that would pull in the ratings

Fio2 · 20/04/2005 11:28

pissheads anonymous

JoolsToo · 20/04/2005 11:29

I'll go if you like - I'll do a party political broadcast ........

handlemecarefully · 20/04/2005 11:30

What's this NDP in a bikini thing?

JoolsToo · 20/04/2005 11:30

her member profile - I'm thinking of posting one of myself ....

JulieF · 20/04/2005 11:31

it depends what people are looking for handlemecarefully, if it local info and support then yes, netmums is better, if it is parenting information then mumsnet probably has the edge.

Justine (mumsnet) · 20/04/2005 11:34

For the record have just over 30 000 registered members and just over 100 000 monthly users - if you join mumsnet you agree to do 5 product reviews (remember that folks ?) so it's in theory more onerous that when you join most sites.

Fio2 · 20/04/2005 11:34

oh i really couldnt post one of myself joolstoo, all those dirty wanking men, its gross

handlemecarefully · 20/04/2005 11:35

Ummm - no wall flower is she? (NDP)

[slightly catty and openly envious emoticon]
