I saw that was one of the items on this morning's show, but didn't see them actually discuss it.

It makes me wonder just how many researches use MN though. So often I see a question posed on MN and then a few days later up the same questions pops on some TV/Radio show or in a newspaper.

Rindercella are we being used

I think you are right rindercella. But mumsnetters are usually quite good at sniffing journalists out. Some regular posters are writers/journalists though and have been quite open about that.

I actually don't have too much of a problem with it if it's true. Usually they are quite good arguments debates. Think I may turn super sleuth though & see if a pattern emerges!!

MN was also on "Tonight" on Monday evening - the one about Jade's Legacy (or some such title). They scrolled through a thread about MNers deciding to have a cervical smear as a result of the "Jade effect" and read people's comments out. They didn't say it was MN but I recognised screen names and layout.
