I think it's unfair to call her a moose, and I think she's done really well, all things considered BUT I don't think Coleen should still be on the programme when better skaters like Roxy and Zoe have been sent off.

Totally agree about Coleen, she shouldn't still be there. Jess shouldn't have been in the bottom two last night. I'm quite glad that Zoe went though, I find her really irritating and last night her skating wasn't great. The first performance was a bit shaky and her un assisted jump, where was it?

The woman is completely graceless. I did like her costume last night, though.

Hopefully, she will respectfully resign - but something tells me she won't.

The commentatpr said jokingly the other week that the reason she is still there is because she has so many sisters voting for her!!!!!

no MT, I caught a bit of loose women yesterday and she was insistent that she had as much right to be there cos she puts such effort into it and the public want her there .

She said that if it was based on talent then they should have given the trophy to ray on the first week and not bothered with the rest of the comp. She was also planning her semi and final performances.. her arrogance really astonished me!

I do think that Coleen should be admired for how hard she's worked, and how much she has improved, but what you describe, akhems, shows her letting herself down bigtime, imo.

i can see her point about Ray, though. he's going to win, has been from day one, so what's the point for everyone else unless they can reward effort and improvemet? these things are always a mix of popularity and talent in any case, cos it's entertainment and not the olympics.

But surely she could actually WIN it, it's down to the public in the end!!!

there's a big difference between voting to keep her in the competition and voting her the best? i don't imagine her fans think she's the best, they just like her effort. but when it comes down to it, they'll vote ray or not vote.

same with john sergeant, a big fuss over nothing. it cannot happen, he would not win. because people aren't actually morons.

Boo to the size-related dissing of Coleen, but, blimming 'eck what IS she still doing there? In theory she could be the next Dancing on Ice champion if the judges never get an opportunity to ditch her. Now that is a scary thought. I don't much like Ray, and we are on a tight budget chez Palliser right now but I am seriously considering making that premium-rate call on Sunday.

I wasn't dissing her size just think its weird as she is bigger than me yet 2 full sizes smaller.And the other girls are slim but not excessively so.

It does rile me when people say certain people shouldn't be in competitions towards the end if they aren't quite as good as the others because it is an ENTERTAINMENT SHOW! If it was an ability show then firstly, all the contestents chosen at the beginning should all be of a similar standard and secondly, they should ditch the public vote. They won't do that though because it's how they generate their money! The judges know this, so why do they all moan about how the public vote. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, QUIT YOUR JOB! I'll do it I'd much prefer watching Colleen skate and Todd Carty than Jessica, Zoe or Ray tbh because they entertain me.

She shouldn't be there. It's the ghost of John Sergeant all over again. The 'bless her' brigade voting for personality over talent. Yes, she's trying and improving but people who are better than her are being sent off the show and they are improving and trying at a greater level than she is.

Where is it ever billed as a talent show though? They invite "celebs" and include a public vote, so it is always going to be about popularity and entertainment! Otherwise they would get Joe Bloggs and Jane Smith from no.28 to skate instead.

i've got more in common with colleen n and i never in a million years could do what she's doing. back in the days when i did gymnastics every week, sure, but not now. i think ray et al should be kicked out for having the unfair advantage of being young and fit...
i don't vote in these things but if i did, i'd vote for her because i truly applaud her effort. and then i'd vote ray at the end cos he's better.
