Early Doors - will there ever be a new series?

I've watched the repeats so many times the characters are like old friends!

We love that too. My DP has a terrible habit of giving me a blow by blow account of his trip home and I always tell him he reminds me of the guy in Early doors who stands at the bar discussing the best route through town and how to miss the road works etc. It is so funny. We love the two policemen who come in the back door for a drink, some of the lines they come out with are the best in the series.

Another vote from me and dh. Its brill and we're currently sky plussing it and watching them all again (and will no doubt watch it again!). Also love the theme tune

I'd forgotten about Early Doors - it was brilliant. Written by Craig Cash, I think.

I'd love it to come back, it was written by Craig Cash wasn't it? It was very funny, having spent my life being bought up in pubs (mum and dad are publicans rather than alcoholics! It really rings true to me!
