Me too! The Dr Greene bit really got to me too and I didn't like him that much at the time. He was so caring.

Clary · 20/02/2009 22:56

Oh I was crying too.

Blub at Dr Greene as well

Motherhood has really go to us hasn't it when we cry at a TV show

SleepyCaz · 22/02/2009 17:56

Have missed so much ER. Where are Abby and Luka? PS I cry at everything these days, used to take a lot!

auntyspan · 22/02/2009 18:29

i always cry at ER. I love the programme and will miss is HEAPS when it finishes. I couldn't believe it when all the old faces turned up - Mark Greene, Kerry etc.

Missing Pratt though, wish he hadn't gone.

Flamesparrow · 22/02/2009 18:35

I had DS up with me whilst I was watching it - spent most of the episode sobbing and squeezing him a bit tighter.

He just kept looking

PurlyQueen · 22/02/2009 19:55

Did they get Greene, Weaver and Romano back to shoot new scenes, or were their appearances cobbled together from previous shows?

Clary · 22/02/2009 19:58

lol purlyqueen I was wondering that too.

Just spotted Gates in an old episode of Friends

I lurrve ER - how will I get my ironing done when it ends?

Flamesparrow · 22/02/2009 20:06

They came back to film it (says on the trivia on tv.com )

Alibobster · 22/02/2009 21:02

Doug Ross and Carole and Carter are all coming back too apparently. Used to really like Carter then he got a bit too up his own arse!

which episode of friends was Gates in?

christywhisty · 22/02/2009 21:19

Gates was In this episode of Friends as Zach
I think they were new scenes for Greene Weaver etc. Romero was definitely a little tubbier than he used to be and I am sure he never had hair in ER before and in this episode he had a fringe at the back, but it look dark not red like his Fame days.

balismum · 22/02/2009 21:23

love er. often have a weep at some point. dreading when it finishes for ever. so happy to find allies - dp thinks its crap (think he watches when pretending to read!)

beforesunrise · 22/02/2009 21:25

It was mainly about the new Chief Dr Bainfield - flashback episode. Turns out she had a son and he died when he was 5 years old of Leukemia. He was taken to County and treated by Dr Greene - it was so sad.

puts fingers in ears (eyes) and goes lalalala. I'm just about to start season six! lalalalalala!

ElfOnTheTopShelf · 22/02/2009 22:22

I tape ER and watch it later in the week. I watched it tonight and sobbed like a baby.

Clary · 22/02/2009 23:27

christywisty how hard did you have to search to find that Friends episode? (or did you just know...?)

christywhisty · 22/02/2009 23:35

It took me just a few minutes. IMDB is a brilliant website for that sort of thing.
I looked up ER, clicked the full cast list to find Gates, clicked on the actors name which brings up all the work he had done including Friends. Nowadays on imdb they list every episode an actor has been in so it is very easy to find.
