Link to him then.

Rindercella · 17/02/2009 22:08

He is rather lovely. Very young (too young for me, I think), but rather lovely. Very enthusiastic too, which is nearly always a good thing.

And no, he doesn't look like a Brian.

cornsilk · 17/02/2009 22:08

Some of us just watch Jeremy Kyle.

wrinklytum · 17/02/2009 22:10
  1. what channel are you watching?

  2. Dp is an "UnBrianlike Brian".I always think of Monty Python..."He been a very naught boy"

Tinker · 18/02/2009 00:08

He's 40, not that young

Rindercella · 18/02/2009 10:47

He's 40???! He has such a baby face.

Penthesileia · 18/02/2009 10:52

When I read your thread title, all I could think was: "Cool!" [sad git!]

AMumInScotland · 18/02/2009 10:55

He doesn't look 40, and he doesn't look like a "brian".... but there you go, professor rock star, what do you expect!

Habbibu · 18/02/2009 11:15

I watched this - he's just brilliant - super clever, foxy, great tv presenter. And the programme was really good too!

MARGOsBeenPlayingWithMyNooNoo · 18/02/2009 11:24

just for you Cornsilk

Sorry, I posted then ran! (I'm still looking for my car keys)

It's not the most flattering photo.

Habbibu - I thought it was good too and made the science and numbers behind it really interesting.

Did you see him arguing his corner most beautifully with Paxman and David King? It's here, and he's great. I wish I was good at physics...

Tinker · 18/02/2009 12:41

Was that a few months ago (not looked at link)? Yes, very passionate and almost masterful.

MARGOsBeenPlayingWithMyNooNoo · 18/02/2009 16:20

Wonderful. Thanks for the link.

flimflammum · 18/02/2009 16:25

Ha ha ha, at your thread title, was watching it last night with DH (who is into physics), he's a bit phwaaaar, isn't he? DH thinks he acts like he's in Oasis. But he is a good presenter too. I didn't know his name was Brian. Do you think he was styled (clothes wise) or is he just naturally (and surprisingly for a boffin) trendy?

TeaSleepFood · 18/02/2009 16:29

Thank you for that! great link. Didn't he make the other guy look like a duffer!

CatIsSleepy · 18/02/2009 16:31

he used to be in that band D;ream or however you write it, didn't he?

AMumInScotland · 18/02/2009 16:34

If he acts like he's in Oasis, that's probably because he used to play keyboards in D'Ream ("Things Can Only Get Better"). I don't know if he was a physics student who then joined a band, or went back to studying afterwards.

Timeisablindguide · 19/02/2009 22:49

Yes, he was already studying when he went into D;ream.
