Is anyone going to watch this with me?

OP posts:
LurkerOfTheUniverse · 15/02/2009 16:47

will it clash with dancing on ice?

TrillianAstra · 15/02/2009 16:49

You could watch the first 4 before Dancing on Ice...

So yes. It will. Sorry.

OP posts:
foxinsocks · 15/02/2009 16:50

when is it on?

LurkerOfTheUniverse · 15/02/2009 16:54

don't be sorry, unless you are the controller of Channel 4 television

fryalot · 15/02/2009 16:57

presumably if there is nothing else you want to watch and you have digital, with the clever use of a bit of C4 and C4+1 you should be able to watch all of both.

Even if not in quite the right order (iykwim)

foxinsocks · 15/02/2009 16:59

oh squonk, see I knew you would like this as we seem to have been born to watch the same programmes

Is it the one on at 8pm? I'm confused by Astra's the first 4 (first 4 what)? or am I being spectacularly thick

TrillianAstra · 15/02/2009 17:00

Oh, I'm on More4 watching the omnibus (it's not an omnibus of this week, but from another time)

I forgot there was one on this evening too!

OP posts:
foxinsocks · 15/02/2009 17:02

ah ha! the one on Ch 4 at 8pm is with Christopher Biggins, Edwina Currie, Julia Bradbury (tv presenter) and philp Olivier (from Hollyoaks apparently)

TrillianAstra · 15/02/2009 17:02

The one this evening is on at 8, so clashes with the other end of this Dancing on Ice thing, but of course Channel 4+1 will be showing it at 9.

OP posts:
fryalot · 15/02/2009 17:02

hee hee

yes, it's on C4 at 8. I think she probably meant that we can watch the end of CDWM after DoI.

My problem is that I also want to watch Being Human on bbc3 at 9 - which is on at the same time as the victorians which dp wants to watch.

He is refusing to put the dvd recorder back in the room with telly as he's recording videos in the other room.

Am trying to figure out what I can watch on my laptop later

foxinsocks · 15/02/2009 17:03

lol astra. Have got you now.

fryalot · 15/02/2009 17:03

wonder if edwina currie does eggs

TrillianAstra · 15/02/2009 17:15

I'm having a brain meltdown here - was she involed in 'go to work on an egg' or did she say that too many eggs are bad because of cholesterol?

OP posts:
LurkerOfTheUniverse · 15/02/2009 17:31

no, she said all eggs were contaminated with Salmonella

TrillianAstra · 15/02/2009 17:39

Oh, that one!

I keep having to tell people even now that there's no salmonella in their eggs because they have the red lion mark, so the chickens had been vaccinated, and eggs only have salmonella if the chicken that laid them had salmonella.

OMG BRILL I LOVE THE CELEB ONES THEY ARE HILARIOUS LOL

TrillianAstra · 15/02/2009 17:55

You lot are missing out - sarky voiceover man just yelled at a contestant because she thinks she can sing and woulnd't shut up.

OP posts:
candyfluff · 15/02/2009 18:00

woohoo imnot gonna miss it

Tidey · 15/02/2009 18:02

I love this show when none of the participants can stand each other, but it's worth watching anyway just for the voiceover chap.

BitOfFun · 15/02/2009 18:38

The shouting was very funny, I've never head him lose it like that before!

TrillianAstra · 15/02/2009 21:06

D'oh, can't watch the celebrity one now as DP is watching some Richard Hammond thing from 830-930, so CH4 and Ch4+1 are both out. Never mind.

OP posts:
Ewe · 15/02/2009 21:08

Wasn't Biggins fabulous? He is such a queen, DP and I were laughing our socks off!

bagsforlife · 15/02/2009 21:13

He was hilarious. Who is 'Phil' though??

mejon · 15/02/2009 21:15

Did you know he's big friends with Joan Collins - I don't think he mentioned it at all .

loobyt · 16/02/2009 07:31

bagsforlife - phil was on brookside, sad aren't I
