Oh DS name is ned

AitchTwoOh · 11/02/2009 22:08

don't worry, it's not a bad thing. it's practically affectionate and nothing to do with the name ned. in fact i think it might have meant 'non-educated delinquent' on borstal forms back in the dim and distant times.

RiaParkinson · 11/02/2009 22:11

lol Aitch

RiaParkinson · 11/02/2009 22:11

Why do I remember such bolleuax!

LoveMyLapTop · 11/02/2009 22:14

She could be a mner, saw the odd bit of Boden on young Reuben!

beanieb · 11/02/2009 22:16

I don't know Bettws well, but used to live near Ringland. They had a lottery winner there - maybe she'll make the next series

RiaParkinson · 11/02/2009 22:17

bet she didn't let Reuben have orange room

I forced my ds to have an orange room!

LoveMyLapTop · 11/02/2009 22:19

SHe bought one of those big houses near the Celtic Manor.
I grew up in Malpas Beanie.
Did you go to school here?

beanieb · 11/02/2009 22:46

I'm sort've from Penarth (though wasn't born in Wales we just moved there) live back in Cardiff now. Was in Newport for 5 years and really liked it, despite it's 'reputation'. I lived in Maindee. Didn't go to school in Newport though. Actually I really want to go back - have they finished all the building in the town centre yet?

FiveGoMadInDorset · 11/02/2009 22:47

Loved the folly, not sure on the rest of the house.

LoveMyLapTop · 11/02/2009 22:49

Ha I work in MAindee
Unfortunatley a lot of the building work is on hold so town looks really shabby.
The new footbridge is fab as is the new theatre, but it will tak a lot for it to be avle to compete with Cardiff.
Shame.
Can still have a good night out though!

beanieb · 11/02/2009 22:54

yeah - I liked my nights out in Newport.
