AnyFuckerForAShiteSoppyCard · 10/02/2009 20:28

ooo, I love Victoria Sponge

that girl has an eating disorder (the skinny one)

alicecrail · 10/02/2009 20:31

Do you think the cake was lovely and mois? with proper cream? (homer simpson moment - sorry!)

alicecrail · 10/02/2009 20:31

Sorry, moist. was drooling on the keyboard

Frasersmum123 · 10/02/2009 20:31

No - looked like one of those Lion ones you get ina box at the SuperMarket

bigTillyMint · 10/02/2009 20:32

They all have eating disorders, don't they?

alicecrail · 10/02/2009 20:32

Dissapointing

alicecrail · 10/02/2009 20:33

I mean, she didn't even have a cup of tea with it - that woman is sick

Frasersmum123 · 10/02/2009 20:33

I do wish someone would tell Dr Christian to sort his hair out!!!

OP posts:
AnyFuckerForAShiteSoppyCard · 10/02/2009 20:33

it seems so tilly, the skinny ones anyway, meaning a recognized disorder like anorexia

do you mean the overweight ones too? compulsive eaters ?

bigTillyMint · 10/02/2009 20:36

Well, none of them seems to eat "normally."

They eat massive amounts of chocolate, or greasy foods, or only vegetables or whatever. Not just too much or too little of a fairly balanced diet.

Frasersmum123 · 10/02/2009 20:37

The programme always makes me feel hungry

OP posts:
alicecrail · 10/02/2009 20:41

I do think there should be more in the show about healthier eating, instead of saying "right, fatty you eat nothing all day and then have a bag of chips, and skinny just eat all this crap" that doesn't make sense. I think the feed plans they get help though. and how they put them in manky underwear at the start and then nicer stuff at the end

alicecrail · 10/02/2009 20:42

But it makes damn good tv!

Frasersmum123 · 10/02/2009 20:44

I think it helps them to change the attitudes they have towards food though

OP posts:
bigTillyMint · 10/02/2009 20:45

Yeah, how is making a skinny person eat a pile of junk for a week going to help them get healthier?

Tis quite addictive to watch though

AnyFuckerForAShiteSoppyCard · 10/02/2009 20:45

yeah, what is it with the beige underwear ?

alicecrail · 10/02/2009 20:49

Badly fitting beige underwear

Frasersmum123 · 10/02/2009 21:05

The twirling at the end drives me mad!

OP posts:
AnyFuckerForAShiteSoppyCard · 10/02/2009 21:09

the girl only put 2lb on and gained 6 inches around her body ??

how ??

I also think that 28 stone boy should have lost more than a stone in 3 months, I thought you lost weight very quickly at the beginning if you had a lot to lose?

Frasersmum123 · 11/02/2009 09:25

They always give them eating plans where they dont starve themselves, and gradually reduce what they eat.

I think she put weight on all over - legs arms and waist, so its an overall measurement

OP posts:
alicecrail · 11/02/2009 11:55

She had just started uni too so was probably living on fags, pot noodles and alcopops Probably not what they had in mind though...

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/02/2009 13:47

thought she would have put on more weight than 2lbs!!!!

and he should have lost more than a stone in 3mths!!

did think it was a bit mean stating the fact he was a virgin on national tv

and they ALL seem to wear the yukky beige underwear

they show them in their underwear fat, but then slimmer with clothes - thinkwe should see them in underwear at the end

candyheartsandchocolates · 11/02/2009 13:55

yeah agree that everytime they said his name they then added '27 yr old virgin'
wasnt nesscersary

alicecrail · 11/02/2009 16:16

They do have them in underwear at the end its black and normal looking. I guess the beige is probably to make them look worse. I felt sorry for the bloke to, i mean its one thing to say "hasn't had a relationship" than "hasn't had a shag" poor fella.
