Actually i think the baby was a 'him' - apologies for the 'it', hate that!

In an ad for series two it showed Peggy holding a baby in a church and crying so a hint there maybe? It was great last night Don telling that man in the lift to take his hat off was bliss.

really enjoyed that - I normally wait for things to come out on dvd, but i couldn't wait!

I must get the DVD of the first series. I don't want to watch it with DH as anything to do with affairs makes him sqworm. His 1st wife was an air hostess and had been having various affairs! So 1950's
Me! I'm just going to watch it on his pub quiz night so I need to record it all.

I missed about 3 minutes when ds1 woke up...Betty had broken down, was told it was $9 to fix car, but only had 3...any clue about why she didn't want it put on the account and how she persuaded the guy to fix it for $3?

She said it was a new car and her husband did not like her driving so didn't want a bill sent home. I think she was testing what could get for her looks like her escort friend. Am glad peggy was promoted too sucha great show.

just watched it on iplayer. what a fantastic show.

Thank fuck for that, thought I was the only one who loved this programme, it really is one of the best things on telly now.

dh and i have down loaded the first series of this- can't believe we missed it first time round! It is sooo good!

omg this gets better and better. what happened to peggy though? was it some sort of PND?

I think she had some kind of psychotic break after the birth. I adore this show so much.
