My observations, FWTW:

  • Kate Winslet's hair ages her a bit like that
  • I hope Mickey Rourke wins the Oscar if he's going to make speeches like that
  • But Danny Boyle's speech was fantastic
  • JRoss after Mickey was very very funny
  • I bloody hope that all the BEST dresses are being saved for the Oscars because they are all very mediocre
  • Emma Watson needs a stylist PDbleedinQ

He's a teacher. BUT he's also an ex-actoooooooor and current (unsuccessful) playwright. But he has done lots of stuff with Michael Sheen in the past and had a fight with Christian Slater at the Edinburgh Festival a few years back.

Reckon you're right Kerry, unfortunately he hasn't mentioned James McAvoy yet

I think Danny Boyle might be the love child of Morrisey and Sean Locke.

wintera · 08/02/2009 22:15

I have only seen the red carpet stuff from the news before but I thought Kate Winslet and Penelope Cruz both looked about the best. Angelina looked nice from the neck up but there was some weird black and yellow thing sticking up on her dress. Really need to see it in full to see what was going on with it. But Angie and Brad looked so loved up on the red carpet interviews! They kept touching each other and she kept resting her head on his shoulder too.

Have just looked at old photos of Mickey Rourke on his fan website

WOW he was a good looking man

Fucked up big time on the looks front... but still remains strangely alluring

(Oh to be a man in this industry )

Looks good in Spandex too

Yeah Mickey was gorgeous. I liked him in Diner. Kim Basinger looks awful in those clips though! Too much 80's eye liner.

notnowbernard · 08/02/2009 23:02

KM you are my new only MN best mate for posting that

He was bloody gorgeous wasn't he?
