Did anyone watch the first season of "Samantha Who?"

Just seen series 2 advertised and it looks good but I never saw the first.

Can anyone give me a brief idea of what it's about and whether it's the sort of thing you can watch if you missed the beginning?

I think we started in the 2nd season. From what I gather, she was a complete beeatch previously, had an accident, got amnesia, and is now a different person. Her boyfriend was about to propose pre-accident or he did, but she called it off. He's living with her until he gets an apartment.

I guess it's just about finding out who she is while everyone around remembers who she was before and how she acted, and now having a whole new life.

It's quite entertaining.

I saw a couple of the season 1 ep's. Just alot of her not knowing who she was. It's just ok, which is a shame because I really like christina applegate.

We liked it. Funny, good ensemble cast. Missed all ads for season 2 so have missed first ep. Will have to try find time to watch it on 4oD before next one. I think you can probably catch up quite quick if missed first season as it isnt exactly subtle or deep. www.tv.com is always good for catching up on whos who or what you have missed for any tv show.

I've been watching season 1 over the last couple of days. I'm enjoying it - nothing deep and meaningful, just a good comedy.

The Air New Zealand plane that I was on recently had the first 6 episodes of season 1.

As far as I knew her boyfriend was about to dump her pre-accident. In episode 2 (I think) she takes him to a birthday party that she'stold is for her friend Renee, turns out this is a man she has been sleeping with. She finds out, boyfriend says that he's been suspicious for a while, she moves in with her parents (who forget to meention that she hasn't actually spoken to her mother in 2 years or something).

Does that help? Yep, she was a beeatch before. And her friend was in Spin City. And her mother looks very familiar.

I quite liked it, but I was sleep-deprived and drinking gin, so I don't know if my judgement is very good.
