Is it just me that's a bit over excited at the return of skins?

Am probably far too old for it, but i bloody love it. Can't wait to see if the new cast matches up to the old one. [saddo emoticon]

Not at all. I love skins with a passion that borders on a bit...um...weird.

Ledodgy · 22/01/2009 22:35

Oh shit I forgot it was on, will watch it tommorow on catch up. I can't see myself staying awake for E4 +1.

nancy75 · 22/01/2009 22:35

it makes me feel like an oap!

frogmarsh · 22/01/2009 22:58

Aaah glad to have found some fellow skins lovers! Loving Ardell O'Hanlon (spelling?)

Loved it

warthog · 22/01/2009 23:04

ah it's on at 10:45 on sunday on e4.

Mspontipine · 22/01/2009 23:05

Was a bit about all new characters - would it still be Skins?? But yes it is - and keeping a bit of the old - Effie, Pandora etc just enough to ease the transition!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/01/2009 19:20

i loved it

have always watched and think its good have new characters - sid etc had gone as far as they could

littlelamb · 23/01/2009 19:22

I was a bit disappointed tbh. I love Skins, and it never was really realistic but the whole (loooong) scene in the sports hall was just cringeworthy. It's trying to be Teachers now imo, with completely outlandish characters.

Lulumama · 25/01/2009 19:25

just posted this elsewhere

i actually thought it was really disappointing. it was soooo over the top and overblown and the charcters were just not quite as convincing and real... shame really, it was something that should have finished with the end of the last series and cast.

glad it was not just me who was a bit disappointed

warthog · 29/01/2009 17:54

well i really hope it's better tonight.

was very disappointed in the characters. and what's with making all adults look like total bumbling idiotic morons with shit for brains? at least in the last series they had a couple that could string 2 sentences together. and their acting is appalling (apart from harry enfield of course).

LittleMissBliss · 29/01/2009 20:00

I was a bit disappointed too, too try hard (comedy moments). Hopefully the new characters will grow on me. I Miss Tony.

warthog · 29/01/2009 22:05

yeah tony was the best.

warthog · 29/01/2009 22:05

his sister just smoulders too much.

frogmarsh · 29/01/2009 22:09

Oh no i missed the first part because i was puree-ing (sp?) fish pie - what happened so far?

you can catch up on e4+1 or e4 on sunday at 10pm i think...

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/01/2009 22:53

well this blonde LOVED tonights epidsode

the fight and the brothel was funny

and they used the cunt word

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/01/2009 09:25

and did anyone recognize the father?

he was in pirates of the carribean - as the one who lost his eye - ragetti

frogmarsh · 31/01/2009 19:45

I thought last nights episode was a bit OTT, but improved towards the end when Cook softened a bit. He is quite a mad OTT character though so I suppose it was to be expected.

Blondes - he will always be Gareth from 'The Office' to me!! (scary in this though)

Warthog - Tony was good but i was really liked Chris.....

OP posts:
warthog · 01/02/2009 09:50

is chris the one who died? if so, i thought he was brilliant!

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/02/2009 10:22

never watched office

i do like having a new young cast - as i said think on other thread the old characters had gone as far as they could
