A third world charity set up a football stadium full of drs for people who havent seen a dr as have no healthcare insurance...women there with 3 types of cancer who cant afford to drive to a hosp for liver transplant

haven't seen it, but sounds dire!

I saw it.......that poor woman also needs a liver transplant, she has to go to the next state if she wants one!

The most shocking statistic (from The Undercover Economist) is that the U.S. actually spends significantly more on publicly-funded health care per head of population than the UK, but without having a free-at-the-point-of-use health system. Which sounds bonkers, but Tim Harford isn't exactly a crypto-socialist so I assume his figures add up, although I haven't checked them.

Was shocked about Walmart and the company who paid employees bonuses for cancelling peoples health insurance!!
