Cbeebies and Dr Who?!

Dh was watching Sid on big fun tiem the other day and insists that teh set (with beebatron) is the original TARDIS.
Is he right?! Really? evidence?

Show us a picture and I'll be able to tell you. It's unlikely it is the actual original set, if you mean the 60s-70s or even 80s one - they were mothballed ages ago. They were only made of wood and plastic!

By the last stories in 1989 the walls had warped so much that they had to use a painted backdrop for the roundels and shoot them in very dim lighting.

I've been googling for ages and cant find an image of either!

Sorry, mine are now too old for CBeebies so i don't really know it. I remember Sid but that's about it. Will have to look now!
