Would you eat an elephant?

Did anybody watch that programme where the two chefs toured the world considering eating unusual things ie snakes, rats, insects, dogs, horses and ultimately an elephant?

We were really looking forward to it but thought they were so wet they didn't deserve the show. Bear Grylls or Hugh Fernley-Eatsitall would have made far better, and braver, presenters.

eat an elephant?? that's awful, elephants are lovely peaceful creatures.

i agree about the wetness of them. It was rather disappointing. I didn't blame them for not wanting to eat elephant, etc. but it defeated the object of the documentary.

I hated seeing the dogs treated like that, de4f put me off the idea of eating it! Didn't much like seeign the horse neither not wanting to go into the abbatoir.
The snake spring roll things looked tasty though!
