Whenever they are about to catch a suspect they don't get up to them then grab them/speak to them...they shout from a distance giving them a good time to run.

But I suppose the show would be boring with less chases eh?

I thought the Bill was completely out of order last night. I don't want to see them dig up a dead baby as I'm eating my tea. Really disagreed with it and I'm surprised more mums aren't on here commenting on it.

I love Smithy!

anyway, back to the OP. I've noticed this in a lot of TV cop shows. They turn up to arrest a suspect with sirens going and shout "stop" at them, having already given warning they are arriving.

I thought last nights was good, although a bit of a shocker at the end. DH thinks the mother or the auntie has something to do with it
