OWT GOOD ON TELE?

Right, I would like to watch a series of good quality, watchable (addictive) television programmes which are rather good, I liked Apparitions and also like Lead Balloon (random)
Is there any new series which me and dp can watch (have got sky + so not bothered about times)every week which will keep us entertained which is not celebrityfied or gameshowy?

I haven't found anything new yet.

Are you into buying dvds? Because I've heard people recommend the Wire though I haven't seen it.

Not sure about buying ,seem to only watch them once - is that what everyone else does??
