ER starts next week... and rumours of George Clooney coming back...?!?

Anyone know anything else? More4 on Thursday at 9pm from next week! Not sure about the George rumour but saw it on Hello-Magazine.com!

It's the last series - which is a good thing I think. I believe Noah Wyle is coming back but I would be stunned to see George - I mean think about it - there's nobody left for him to come back for - apart from Haleh and Lydia!

George says 'No way' apparently. Dr Green (don't ask me how) & Carol (mum of Dr Ross' twins) are supposedly making cameos.

coco - you can get all the early stuff on dvd you know - I have up to series 7 atm and it's soooo much better than the news stuff!

Library - or keep an eye on more4 etc - they often reshow stuff in the mornings - but they cut all the good gory bits.

This is very good news. I love ER, even though it's now rubbish compared to the glory days of Doug, Benson, Green, Lewis et al.

Does anyone know if Whiney Abby survives the ambulance explosion? No, don't tell me, I don't really want to know.

The little info klippit thing that pops up when you press the i on the sky remote on the prog you want to watch kinda gives it away. Stoopid Sky.

Can someone remind me what happened at the end of the last series? Vaguely remember all the I'll go - no I insist - no let me stuff with the ambulance, but can't remember who did get in it in the end. Or what else was going on with anyone else for that matter!

I'd heard lots of the oldies were making a cameo for the last episode. Dr Green though - would have to be flashback. Likewise Romero (what a great character he was!).

Minnie, there was a gas (?) explosion at the end of the last series, and either Pratt, Abbey or Neela copped it/injured. Pratt had finally got it together with his gf, and Abbey and Luka finally worked it out. Please no spoilers, I've got my fingers crossed it was Neela, hated her!

Glad it's ending though, it hasn't been the same for years. (Sound like a MOldie don't I )

Ah... gas explosion? In my confused world (have had a baby since) I thought someone had blown the ambulance up because the patient was in witness protection. Or did I make that bit up too?!

I like Abby! Although secretly I think she should still be with Carter...

I stopped watching about 2 years ago too. Agree the oldies were soooo much better;

Benton, typical surgeon, no people skills
Doug, eye candy with a great bedside manner!
Dr. Green, most believable doc
Dr. Carter, the longest there ??
Romano, arrogance personified, loved him!
Lukka, loved the accent
Kerry, quite annoying but also likeable

I liked Alex Kingston in it too, thought she played a good part. Carol & Abby were very moany! I didn't get the newer crop of docs at all, Pratt, Neela, Morris etc, they just didn't seem believable as doctors to me.

It was great in its heyday, but its time to go.

It was an ambulance that got blown up at the end of the last series, and either greg or abby was in it at the time.

I read online yesterday that Dr Carter comes back, along with Dr Benton and Dr Greene (in a flashback), there are also rumours that Alex Kingston will come back but i don't know if they are all coming back in the same episode..?
