She was very quick to lie to Dot when nick van disappeared and quicker than nick cause he nearly gave it away.

once dot went out, nick was on the phone and yelled at dotty to go to her room, when she didnt he raised his arm as if yo hit her!!

i want to know why the market's open in the pitch black!

The Market is open as it gets dark about 4 in the winter

Dot's a fine one to talk ... that the way you bring your kids up has to have some bearing on how they turn out. What about her nick!

I thought that was an excellent piece of irony in the script, nappyaddict - condemning Max for his daughter's behaviour in one breath and then "oh hello Nick" - made me laugh
