I am sat here in bed at PIL's with a glass of whiskey waiting for G&S to start.

Sooooooooooo excited, tis the most looked forward to thing for me this Christmas, and I am surrounded by Welsh people to make it more authentic . I swear stepBIL is a younger version of Bryn

My DD2 is called Nessa, and we live in south wales, shame we did that before I got into G and S as every time I watch it I spend the enxt few days saying
'alright Ness?'

When oh when does next series commence?

There is only hints of a 3rd series so far. So fingers crossed!!

I went to Ruth Jones last radio show for Radio Wales last weekend. She did a roadshow at Barry Island. Smithy was there too. And they announced that there is definitely going to be a 3rd series. HURRAY!!!!

I've got the mother of all sore throats but that's cheered me right up!!

I am a massive G £ S fan, but was so disappointed with the xmas special. It was sooooo uncomfortable when the row broke out on christmas eve. Really spolit the whole thing for me.

i watched the boxed set of series G&S 1 and 2 to get me through 8 hours of labour at home. (had to rewatch some of series 2 to fill in the blanks afterwards though). I heart Ruth Jones.

This is another one that has gone on too long.

The Christmas special was dire.

The Ruth Jones and Rob Brydon characters in particular are no longer funny and the whole thing is contrived.

Many of the lines are a total cringe now. The old lady that lives next door to Stacey's mum was funny at first but that's been done to death now.

I always think it's a shame when they don't know when to call it a day. And Cordon and Jones definitely don't.

They are doing another series but gawd only knows what they'll fill it with - but I think I'll be giving it a miss.
