Is anyone else watching this bizarre programme which purported to be a discussion of this year in finance but is in fact a hagiography of Robert Peston, complete with interview with his father, childhood photos. It is completely barmy.

I thought it was a serious look at the financial crisis, I initially thought maybe I'd read the tv guide wrong. V strange.

Very odd. I am mostly MNing though and not paying much attention. Are they going to mention his confident prediction of VAT going up?

Does that mean I don't need to bother watching it, I had taped it ?

Don't bother. Not informative about the wider context at all. It's mostly about the stories he got and whether he was right to broadcast them or not.

Thanks, I shall delete it then, more time to sort Christmas stuff if I can be bothered !
